Dealers Receive Sneak Peek of Two New Excavator Models Coming to Market Early 2018
PHOENIX, Az. (October 25, 2017) – Kubota Dealers were the first to preview two new compact excavator models that will be available to customers in early 2018. The annual dealer meeting, held this week in Phoenix, Arizona, unveiled the new KX033-4 with an extendable dipper arm, along with the new U27-4, which will replace the popular U25S model.
“Our annual dealer meeting is an exciting time for us to showcase the new offerings that Kubota Construction is introducing to the compact excavator market,” said Jeff Jacobsmeyer, Kubota product manager, excavators, wheel loaders, TLBs. “Final production models of these two excavators were presented at the meeting and made available for dealers to look under the hood, operate and ask detailed questions. The ‘hands on’ preview allows our dealers to experience the excavators’ new features before they arrive to their own showroom floors in just a few short months.”
Preview: Kubota KX033-4 with Extendable Dipper Arm
The new KX033-4 with an extendable dipper arm is a new configuration to the existing KX033-4 compact excavator within Kubota’s KX Series; this model will be available at dealerships by January of 2018. The new KX033-4 with the extendable dipper arm features an impressive digging depth of 12 feet 2 inches and a digging reach of 18 feet 2 inches. Now operators can have the dig depth and reach of a larger machine with the compact footprint of the KX033-4.
Preview: Kubota U27-4 Minimum Tail Swing
Kubota’s new U27-4 will be available at dealerships in the first quarter of 2018 and features adjustable auxiliary flow hydraulics; an auxiliary diverter valve, two-speed automatic downshift travel, as well as best-in-class reach and dig depth. The new U27-4 also boasts one of the largest operator stations in its class with a minimum tail swing design. An enclosed cab option with heat is also available for the new U27-4.
