Kubota University Employee Development Center

In May of this year, Kubota launched its new employee training site titled Kubota University Employee Development Center (EDC) as part of a larger initiative to provide ongoing training resources to all employees.  The new site includes over 10,000+ online classes that address corporate compliance, classes for new employees, and pre-bundled course libraries covering a range of topics including Design Principles, Management, Marketing, and Performance Management training.  In the future, the site will include information on upcoming online and classroom-based courses with registration links, along with a library of recorded employee training webinars and new tutorials on Kubota products and services.

Onboarding is a key component to retaining and engaging new employees.  As noted in a recent Urbanbound survey, employees who started a new job with a structured onboarding process had a 77% track record of hitting their first-year performance goals!  Like any other tool here at Kubota, we are constantly looking to improve our process through the PDCA cycle (Plan-Do-Check-Adjust).   As such, we have carefully reviewed the company's onboarding process with the primary objective of focusing on streamlining the overall process and making sure new employees feel even more welcome to our Company and productive on day-one.

As always, contact your HR manager with any questions regarding training and be sure to visit the Employee Development Center at https://www.ktc.myabsorb.com for continued updates.
