In late March, KTC teamed up with Great Plains Manufacturing to deliver live-online sales training focused on the M7-2 Series tractor and hay tools lineup. The session was designed specifically for Kubota Dealership Sales and Support personnel from the Midwest Division and parts of the Central Division.

These interactive sessions featured live machine walk-arounds and in-cab demonstrations along with “News Desk”-style instruction from the Great Plains studio. The courses provided an opportunity for participants to prepare for the spring/summer selling season and earn up to 8 hours of training credit to count toward Dealer Certification.  The sessions focused on the M7-2 Series and hay tools lineup’s key selling features and customer benefits in addition to demonstration best practices, equipment PDI, setup, and commercial ag customer purchasing drivers.  Sales programs, including M7-2 leasing and rental programs were included, as were Land Pride implements designed for agricultural applications.

The training was broadcast from the well-equipped and spacious Great Plains Conference Center facility in Salina, Kansas.  Dwight Conley (Multi-media Specialist) and Shane Hall (Events Manager) of Great Plains graciously hosted Kubota’s field and Grapevine-based staff in addition to providing key technical and logistical support for the event.  The Kubota team was led by Midwest Ag Product Specialists – Bruce Spidle, Clinton Herl, and Weston Heupel.  Other Kubota staff involved were Scott Herr (Field Service Specialist M7/Hay Tools Midwest Division), Emily McNerney (Ag Equipment Product Manager), Justin Fuhrman (Hay Tools and Implements Product Manager), and Dale Rodgers (Kubota University Product Instructor).

Through his effort, the team was able to reach more than 150 students, preparing them for success in the 2021 selling season!
